Eco-friendly Pulping

In January 2011, pulp mill of Jingui began trial production, and has been approved by Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China for the acceptance of completion by the end of the year. Its main equipment was provided by Andritz, a world-wide famous pulping and paper making equipment supplier of Austria, by which the pulp production process achieved automatic control to produce many kinds of paper and paper boards. One kind of its products, namely Eucalyptus chemical mechanical pulp, valued much for its high yield, with a characteristic of high bulk density as well as high brightness. ”Golden leopard” chemi-mechanical pulp was honorably chosen as a recommended product of Guangxi Forestry Industries Association in June 2012.

First-period project of Jingui equipped with the state-first alkali recovery system that especially designed for dealing with waste water from pulping process, which transfers the waste water to alkali recovery workshop, and after evaporation and concentration, the waste water would be transferred to recovery boiler to burn. In this flow, organics in waste water was burnt into thermal energy, meanwhile, through causticizing, alkali could be recycled, which lower the difficulty in dealing with pollutant, and ultimately achieved energy conservation, emission reduction and clean production. At present, the main pollutant indexes of waste water emissions of Jingui are all above national standards.
