    Sinar Mas APP-China, as a responsible corporate citizen shall committed its Forestry Division to incorporate modern scientific methods in developing sustainable high yield forest plantations to meet today’s social, economic andenvironmental needs without compromising the future.
    We shall relentlessly promote the concept of a sustainable integrated forest plantation，pulp and paper industry to our stakeholders.
    With the above commitment, we shall endeavor to comply with the following principles:
    确保各项营林活动符合国家的法律法规、地方行政规定，以及我国所签署的国际公约及其它相关要求；
    ◆ All our forest plantations activities shall comply criteria, national and local
     legislation including established international conventions.
    紧密配合国家与地方林业发展战略，科学编制中、长期林业发展规划，实行科学造林、依法采伐、及时更新，不断扩大森林资源，以实现森林的可持续经营目标；
    ◆ Adopt the national and local forestry development plan and strategies and apply modern scientific methods in our medium and long term forest plantation planning and development to achieve a sustainable forest management objective.
    确实做好营林全过程的环境保护和持续改善，有效提高自然资源的利用率，减少资源、能源消耗和废弃物的产生，以促进经营区生态环境的良好发展；
    ◆ Constantly improve and protect the environment during the course of reforestation to enhance natural resource use rate and minimize waste for healthy development of ecological environment in operation areas.
     致力于经营区的生物多样性、水土保持、珍稀濒危动植物和自然生态系统的监测与保护；
    ◆ Endeavor to protect and promote biodiversity of the fauna & flora within the natural ecosystem including monitoring and conserving the soil and water quality.
     促进地方经济发展，保护当地居民和团体的利益。不断健全劳动保护制度，保证员工的安全与健康；
    ◆ Develop a sustainable economy to benefit the local communities and to provide a healthy and safe working environment for our forest plantations labor force.
     向员工、地方团体、承包方、供应商及合作方传达环境方针，报告环境状况，并分享改善环境的经验，同时相关方的建议将作为决策的参考依据；
    ◆ Convey our environmental policies and share our experience on improvement and related issues through regular announcement to our stakeholders. Feedback from stakeholders will be taken into consideration when drafting new policies.
    积极参与对生态与环境有利的公益活动，提高公众的环保意识，促进社会整体环保水平的提高；
    ◆ Will actively participate in activities that promote and raise the level of consciousness in environmental protection and ecological enhancement.
    确保经营管理体系与公司现行的营林活动和规模相适应，并不断得到补充和完善，以适应新的形势和政策法规的要求。
    ◆ To keep abreast with current and new rules and legislations and incorporate them into the company’s forest management policies in the course of our forest plantation expansion program.
