APP(China)

APP-China is synonymous with Sinar MasPaper (China) Investment Co., Limited and the group of companies under its direct investment in China. By focusing on operations in the Yangtze River and Pearl River deltas since 1992, APP-China has made significant investments in establishing several state-of-the-art manufacturing mills successively, including Gold East, Ningbo Zhonghua, Ningbo Asia, Gold Huasheng, Gold Hongye, Hainan Jinhai and Guangxi Jingui, as well as very well-developed plantations. By the end of 2013, APP-China owned over 20 pulp and paper mills as wholly owned subsidiaries and holding companies, along with 19 forestry companies, with total assets valued about RMB137.8 billion. Total annual production volume of its mills reached 11 million tons, with sales revenues amounted to RMB41 billion. Over the years, APP-China has invested more than RMB 8.4 billion in environment protection.

Today, APP-China is delivering quality products to meet the growing global demand for tissue, packaging and paper from customers from all over the world.

Its cultural paper products include coated paper/board, offset paper, copy paper, digital printing paper, cash register paper, carbonless paper and so on. APP’s owned leading brands in this product category include ‘Space Shuttle’ and ‘Dongfan’ coated paper from Gold EastPaper, ‘Whale King’ and ‘Yayi’coated paper from Jinhai Pulp and Paper, ‘Flagship’ from Yalong Paper, ‘Canary’ copy paper from Jinxin Paper and ‘Likede’ carbonless paper from Gold Huasheng.

APP-China’s industrial paper products include a wide range of white paperboard products provided by Ningbo Zhonghua whose main brands include ‘Jinbei’, ‘Jin’ou’ and ‘CAIDIE’, among which Jinbei C1S coated duplex board has been awarded national gold prize, while Jin’ ou is recognized with the honor of ‘Famous Brand’ of Zhejiang province.

Tissue paper products include facial tissue and toilet paper from three leading brands of Gold Hongye, which are ‘VIRJOY’, ‘BREEZE’ and ‘ZHEN ZHEN’. These brands have firm commitments to production with 100%original pulp and none migratable fluorescent whitening agent.

Other paper products mainly include various stationery notebook, paper bag and paper cup etc.,among which ‘Maslino’ and ‘Blue Snail’ are leading brands, which have huge export volumes to markets of Europe, America and Japan.

With respect to the pulp for paper production, APP-China offers ‘Dragon’ branded bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp produced by Hainan Jinhai, and ‘Leopard’ from Guangxi Jinguiis the first chemical mechanical pulp product completely made from eucalyptus.
